It's the beginning of a new week, which means it's time to review last week's results!
🔹Bitcoin tests the $25,000 level. The mark was reached on February 16th. Amid the growth of the main cryptocurrency, other currencies from the top 10 were also in the green zone at the end of the week.
🔹Paxos, a partner of Binance and issuer of the BUSD token, came under investigation by the New York Department of Financial Services. As a result, it was ordered to stop issuing the BUSD token. This was followed by news that the SEC plans to sue Paxos as BUSD is considered to be an unregistered security. This news caused the price of the Binance coin (BNB) to drop more than 10%.
🔹In the FTX case, the mysterious guarantors of SBF were revealed. They turned out to be former law school dean Larry Kramer and senior researcher Andreas Pepke, who pledged $500,000 and $200,000 respectively. The remaining guarantors are SBF's parents.
🔹Elon Musk once again boosted the value of the meme currencies DOGE and FLOKI with a few tweets. He published photos with the "new Twitter CEO", who turned out to be a Shibu Inu dog.
That's the end of the interesting and just plain funny news. Come back next week for more news!
